Payment and Cancellations Policies

Our policies vary depending on the trip. Trip specific information is listed under the book now link for individual trips. 

We realize that occasionally things in life happen and you may need to change your dates or cancel a reservation. We will do our best to help you reschedule to a new date, however if you need to cancel entirely the following applies:

Via Ferrata trips

Full payment is required at the time of booking your trip.

  • If you cancel more than 48hrs prior to your start date and time – Cirque Guides will keep a $50 administration fee and you can choose between a credit of paid funds to use towards a future program or a refund.   
  • If you cancel less than 48hrs prior to your start date and time – no credits or refunds are available.

Most Trips use or 30, 20, 10 policy

A 50% deposit is collected at time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your trip start date and is billed automatically to the card you used on the reservation.

  • If you cancel more than 20 days prior to your start date: Cirque Guides will keep a $50 administration fee and you can choose between a credit of paid funds to use towards a future program or a refund.
  • If you cancel between 10-20 days prior to your start date: Cirque Guides will keep a $50 administration fee and you will receive a credit of paid funds to use towards a future program. Any deposits or payments will not be refunded.   
  • If you cancel less than 10 days prior to your start date: No credits or refunds are available.

Larger trips

A 50% deposit is collected at time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your trip start date and is billed automatically to the card you used on the reservation. Because of the costs incurred to set up your program, we cannot offer refunds for this trip. The final 50% is not due until 30 days before your trip.

  • The 50% deposit paid at time of booking is non refundable.    
  • The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your trip and is non refundable once paid.   
  • Note that the second 50% is billed automatically to the card you used on the reservation.   
  • If you cancel before 30 days, you will not be billed for the 2nd 50%.

For all trips

We recommend that participants purchase separate trip insurance for all programs. No refunds are given for bad weather conditions. In the rare event that Cirque must cancel your trip for reasons outside of our control, we will work with you to reschedule your program or find an agreeable resolution.

Waiver

All participants are required to sign our Liability Release and Assumption of Risk Agreement through our online system in order to participate in any program or activity. Participants agree to review and understand these agreements before committing to any program or activity. No modification is allowed.
