From cragging to multi-pitch mixed lines, Ouray presents countless options for a natural progression in the art of mixed climbing.

Choosing and setting up tools, crampons, and picks for mixed terrain

Tool placements in rock features (torques, stein pulls, hooks)

Is This Course Right For Me?
This course requires previous experience ice climbing WI4 routes. If you’re unsure, give us a call and we’ll customize a trip to your ability level.

Ouray Ice Park Membership
If you’re spending time in the Ouray Ice Park, we highly encourage you to buy a membership. The membership grants you 30 minutes early access, Ice Park swag, and local business discounts.
