The Million Dollar Traverse is a five-day, hut-to-hut ski tour that links the Opus, Thelma, and Hayden Huts along a high, remote corridor in the heart of the San Juan Mountains
Designed for intermediate to advanced backcountry skiers, the route offers stunning views, mountain traverses, and some of the best skiing Colorado has to offer.
In the spirit of European hut-to-hut touring, we’ll travel light between furnished huts curated with beautiful interiors, quality meals, and sauna/hot tub
Day One – Approach to Opus Hut
Day Two – Opus Hut to Thelma Hut
Day Three – Ski Touring from Thelma Hut
Day Four – Thelma Hut to Hayden Hut
Day Five – Hayden Lodge to Camp Bird Rd/Exit
