Between Ouray and Silverton the 550 Corridor and Red Mountain Pass boasts some of the best backcountry ski access in America. Uncrowded powder lines sit only moments away making this a dream area for all types of backcountry skiers and riders.

Window shop iconic lines and step out the car into the alpine at 11,000 feet. This high mountain pass is not lacking in open slopes, alpine meadows, mellow trees, untracked chutes, and mountain summits.

Our experienced and professional guides will talk you through decision making in the backcountry and customize this private trip to meet your group’s abilities and goals.

Is This Trip Right For Me?
Previous experience skiing at resorts & Avalanche Rescue course required.
If you’re unsure, give us a call and we’ll help tailor a custom trip for you.

Group Size
This is a private trip and we can accommodate most group sizes. We have a maximum ratio of five skiers per guide. Depending on the number of participants and your group’s ability level and goals, we may recommend an additional guide(s).

Departure Time
7:00am.

Meeting Location
We will meet you each day at your lodging in Ouray, Silverton, Ridgway or Telluride, CO.

Equipment List
We can provide Avalanche Safety Equipment (transceiver, probe, shovel).
